How to report a crime or security stuffs to police via VNeID in Vietnam

Regarding this content, the Ministry of Public Security guides as follows:

 

- Citizens access the VneID application and select the "Petition and feedback on security and order" feature in the "Other services" section.

 

- Citizens click "Create new request" to create a petition, reflecting on security and order.

 

- Citizens declare information fields according to the form available on the VneID application screen such as: petitioner information, denounced person/organization information, incident information, incident occurrence information, … Citizens can also attach photos of the scene to provide evidence of the incident.

 

 

 

 

 

- After completing the declaration, citizens select "Send request" to send their denunciation to the ward/commune police agency. Citizens can monitor the process of handling and resolving their denunciations and send feedback to the Police to provide more information about the case or the delay in the resolution process, etc.

 

Steps to report crimes via VNeID include:

 

- Step 1: Log in to your account on the VNeID application on your phone.

 

- Step 2: At the main interface, select "Other services".

 

- Step 3: Select "recommendations and feedback on security and order" => Create a new request

 

- Step 4: Users fill in all required information (select "Anonymous" if they want to keep their personal information confidential.

 

- Step 5: Confirm information and submit request.

 

To check the processing status, users just need to go to the petition section, reflecting on security and order.
